I BE LEGAL!

Excuse the title, I know it's wrong, but I BE LEGAL!!!

That's right, I just turned 16 today! *is very excited*

It's no big deal, but birthdays are always fun and exciting, no?

------------------------------------------------------------
In other news: I just got a breakthrough in TORMENTOR! My plot just took the amazing twist it needed to make the storyline more interesting :D I'm so happy!

So I have exactly 6 days to write as much as I can before school starts again (it ended like a week ago, so it sucks that we have such short vacation time, aye?)

Wish me luck, I will need it, but for now, I'm going out with my parents for some foodzorz :P

Tomorrow on the other hand, fun fun fun with my friends :D

See you again tomorrow, hopefully, for a Teaser Tuesday!

TORMENTOR

Believe it or not, but I made the header of this blog all by my own! (except the flames...)

The "letters" above spell TORMENTOR, but it's in another language (the one in my book of course)

That's probably (if I can have my say) what the cover page might look like, but with the real word in normal letters written somewhere below it :D

I know I'm getting carried away with it all and I may not even get published, but I can have fun can't I?

Which brings me to Funny Friday: (I've got some Confucius Sayings for you)

Man who run in front of car get tired.
Man who eat many prunes get good run for money.
Baseball is wrong - man with four balls cannot walk.
War doesn't determine who is right, war determines who is left.
Wife who put husband in doghouse soon find him in cathouse.
Man who fight with wife all day get no piece at night
It take many nails to build crib but one screw to fill it.
Man who drive like hell bound to get there.
Man who lives in glass house should change clothes in basement.
Man who fishes in other man's well often catches crabs.
Don't eat the snow where the huskies go!
Support bacteria -- it's the only culture some people have!
Man who lose key to apartment not get new key.
He who sitteth on an upturned tack shall surely rise.
Man who jumps off cliff, jumps to conclusion!
Man who stands on toilet is high on pot
Virginity like bubble, one prick- all gone

Theatrical Thursday- The Proposal

So I just watched the movie- The Proposal

I know it's kind of old, but I only viewed it now... See, I was under the impression that The Proposal is, or rather was, a "Chick-Flick", but turns out, it's fun for the entire family- except for the partial "nude" scenes which would obviously not be suitable for children under the age of 10 (I think).

First off, the movie is GREAT! It's funny, it's exciting, it's emotional and on top of it all it's sort of about writing!

Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds are the perfect people for this film: They act great (no seriously, the acting was phenominal- outstanding to say the least) and they're not too bad looking? The story behind it all is actually so funny, but at the same time it's devestating the lives of the characters.

Just to give you a bit of background about the movie:

The Proposal is about Andrew Braxton (Ryan Reynolds, playing the Editor's Executive Assistant) and Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock, the Editor herself and boss of Andrew).
She has an expired Visa (originally she's from Canada) and is deported, though she devises a "great" idea: She'll force her Assistant to marry her...
He grudgingly accepts BUT he has one condition: She promotes him to Editor at Colden Books.
The government suspect their marriege is a scham and they investigate...
Andrew and Margaret are sent to Alaska to meet his quirky family and the always-in-control city girl finds herself in one comedic fish-out-of-water situation after another.
With a wedding in planning and the government on their trails, these two set out to reach their own personal dreams and vow to stick to the plan, no matter what the consiquences may be.

So there you have it- The Proposal. I'd recommend this movie to anyone, it's great.

I give it 9/10 !

So if you want to see an Assistant (Ryan) grabbing his boss's (Sandra) ass, then this movie is for you! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did :D

Teaser Tuesday/Wonderful Wednesday

I am truly sorry for missing Teaser Tuesday once again!

I have been busy studying for maths *rolls eyes, even though he's good at it* and English Home which was extremely hard... I have another Math test tomorrow, but that's not as hard, just trigonometry and some other stuff as well.

So here goes my Teaser Tuesday:

Brewenglen resembled something like orange juice; only it looked a bit green.

“This looks disgusting,” Avid said as he took a swig, the small pieces of what seemed like orange sliding down along with the liquid, “but I have to admit, it tastes magnificent! What’s in it?”

“I don’t know really. You’ll only get Brewenglen in Alucard though. The three Elm sisters are the founders of Brewenglen and for some reason they won’t share the recipe.”

“They could make a fortune back home!” Avid exclaimed, “That is, if back home really existed. This is real, isn’t it?”

“Yes, it is.” Aylana replied, “Now finish up so we can get to bed.”

Avid gulped as he swallowed his food, “We?”

“Oh come on!” Aylana replied blushing, “You know what I meant! We go to bed- but not together… we have our own sleeping quadrants.”

“Yeah, sure.” Avid replied smirking, “I know what you really meant… no need covering it up now because you’re embarrassed.”

“I’m not embarrassed!” Aylana replied in awe, “and I’m not covering anything up.”

“So, what?” Avid asked confused, “You are asking me to come to bed with you?”

“No!” Aylana replied giving a frustrated sigh, “Now finish up.”

The evening had cooled down again and Avid still felt uncomfortable in his T-Shirt. People still stared at him as they walked toward the warrior sleeping quadrants. Avid soon realized where he was to be spending the night.

“You’re letting me sleep between these savage people?” Avid asked aghast.

And here goes my Wonderful Wednesday:

I'm almost done with EXAMS!!! BACK TO WRITING :D

See you tomorrow for Theatrical Thursday! (For real this time)

When the going gets tough...

... grab a spoon, rub the bottom of your feet with soap and slide your way toward the freezer!

Writing exams can be stressful and time consuming... ask me I know- four main classes in 3 days of exams! That sucks aye?

I'm in the 10th grade and wrote Afrikaans (my home language along with English) on last week Tuesday, Civil Engineering last week wednesday, Programming (computers) and Engineers Graphic and Design on the same day (Thursday) and Science on Friday... hectic... now I have a week and a half of English and Maths...

When you have parents like mine, you won't have time to do much of anything during exams- except learning, but I finally completed my main classes and now I can start writing again after a week.

So why did I choose this specific title: When the going gets tough... grab a spoon, rub the bottom of your feet with soap and slide your way toward the freezer!?

I chose this because that's what I did each time I wanted to write but couldn't... it was my stress relieve from school when I couldn't write. I would grab a spoon, take off my shoes and slide my way toward the freezer (I know, I mentioned soap, but my mom would have killed me) to get the ice-cream :P

Hmmm... creamy- eating does make you feel better

but make sure you don't turn this into an eating disorder... :O

This isn't really helpful/useful, but I thought I had to post a post since I can do it again :)

PS: This is part of Mourning Monday- I couldn't post for an entire week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you tomorrow for Teaser Tuesday!! :D
